Description:
When boot an archlinux live env, loading mac-fr_CH-latin1 is totally jumbles up keyboard input (even keys like return get mapped awkwardly) rendering any further keyboard input meaningless.

Steps to reproduce:
- Boot archlinux-2020.04.01-x86_64.iso on a mac computer with mac french swiss keyboard layout.
- loadkeys mac-fr_CH-latin1

Let me know if I can help debug, set up a layout (can install any other linux distro and use a keyboard layout editor if you can guide me through).

I'm experiencing the same issue by using loadkeys mac-fr, or even loadkeys mac-us ( using a magic keyboard ).
Keys seems to be randomly bound :(
