I confirm after removing `malcontent`, gnome-software continues working.

Even if it throws an error:
08:09:08:0640 Gs Failed to load /usr/lib/gs-plugins-13/libgs_plugin_malcontent.so: failed to open plugin /usr/lib/gs-plugins-13/libgs_plugin_malcontent.so: libmalcontent-0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Maybe because it is disabled by default:

08:09:08:0971 Gs enabled plugins: desktop-categories, fwupd, os-release, provenance, appstream, provenance-license, desktop-menu-path, flatpak, generic-updates, hardcoded-blocklist, hardcoded-popular, modalias, rewrite-resource, icons, odrs, key-colors, key-colors-metadata
08:09:08:0971 Gs disabled plugins: dpkg, dummy, fedora-langpacks, fedora-pkgdb-collections, malcontent, repos
