Details

Description:
amd rx vega 64 crash on mesa 20.0.3.
on destop rendering no crash.
on gaiming 10h crash with reboot pc.
meas 19.3.4 work.
downgrade to 19.3.4.
I have no logs found with error.

I'm not sure is related, or a separate bug, but after upgrading to Mesa 20, I can consistently hard lock my 5700 XT system by browsing to Google Maps in Firefox, and "aggressively" zooming in and outs. Additionally hardware video decoding in Firefox crashes the tab that attempted to play video.

After downgrading to 19.3.4, both issues go away.

I haven't been able to obtain any logs when the system hard locks, but here are the logs from the video tab crashes:

I've experienced now as well a lot of crashes on Mesa 20.0-4 on my Radeon VII. So far this card was extremely stable in Mesa and it regressed quite a lot. Using Firefox with Webrender is enough to crash my system from time to time. I will try mesa-git now to see if it makes a difference.
