i can't see what was added to the PKGBUIILD from the wbpage for the testing repo.

For now, browse through here:
http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/

Or go to the package in its normal repository and Unselect the CURRENT tag where "Show files using tag:" is listed, and all versions will be shown.

i know there are workarrounds for this for example the abs thing you have to do to get the PKGBUILDS (i dind't know the one you posted so thanks).. but why isn't this a "normal" repository?

hacosta, see also http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4116 - you can quickly change URL in browser address field as described there (however, you should already know if non-Testing version of package is in Current or Extra).

This is due to our current CVS repo structure, which should change in the future.
