Though not documented upstream, a test compile and run works. Additional info: * package version(s) 1.43.2-2 * config and/or log files etc. https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/code#n14 change to electron instead of electron7 * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: change to dependency and _electron to electron, compile again, test run. |

No. Upstream is still on electron 7, even in master. It might seem
to work at first sight but certain functionality might be broken.
I will not be giving support to a code build with a different
major electron version than the upstream.
