I case you haven't received it yet through other sources, it looks like yet another regression for iwlwifi has been introduced at the last minute before the Linux 5.6 final release:

Even though I guess 5.6 will be in testing for a while, since it looks like a pretty serious regression and us iwlwifi users have already been 'unfortunate' for a while, it may be worth to include the fix (linked from the Phoronix article) to the list of Arch patches, since I see that the v5.6-arch1 tag doesn't include it.

Can confirm - I build the 5.6 release kernel straight from git and my wifi would no longer authenticate.

Applied the fix from here[1] makes it work again.

Kernel 5.6.2 has been released including the iwlwifi fix.
