Details

Hi,
if i delete a package with all its dependencies only the files from the first package are removed by pacman 3. all other files remain in the system. if i try to reinstall for one of the dependencies pacman quits with the error that the files exist.

We're going to need some more info, although I believe we fixed this issue in CVS.
1. Are you running RC or CVS, and which one or which date was it compiled on?
2. Output is nice to have, can you put it on pastebin.archlinux.org or attach it here?

Before you do the above, I'd recommend grabbing RC2 and trying to reproduce with that. <http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/pacman-dev/2007-March/002196.html>.

ok with the rc2 i can no longer reproduce the problem.
