  • Field changed: Percent Complete (100% → 0%)
The issue persist for me even in version 2.17

To reproduce:
touch prometheus.yml
/usr/bin/prometheus --config.file=./prometheus.yml
Open localhost:9090/graph, expected UI, got _base.html missing error instead.
The fact that config is empty doesn't matter, same with the real one from our system.

Works as expected with downloaded Prometheus from https://prometheus.io/download/.

Feel free to contact me for the additional details or help with reproduction.

Sounds like you're just doing it wrong. Why would you think that starting it like that would work?
