The content of my /etc/vconsole.conf is this:


This worked for many years, but some time last week after an update it stopped working. The console keymap is now always set to US. I can still set the keymap temporarily by typing `localectl set-keymap de neo`, but this only has an effect on the current TTY and doesn't survive a reboot.

The X11 keymap is unaffected.
