Description:

Firefox runs extremely slow if opensc package is installed, to open pages, open and close the program.


package version(s):

- firefox 73 and 74 (74.0-2)
- opensc 0.20.0-1


Steps to reproduce:

- install opensc package;
- restart Firefox or restart Firefox after reopen gnome session;
- Firefox automatically added the /usr/lib/onepin-opensc-pkcs11.so library on the Security Devices page (reach it via Preferences, Privacy & Security, Certificates);
- since then, the program has been very slow;
- if you stop the pcscd.service daemon (systemctl stop pcscd.service) or remove opensc package everything works fine.
