With the latest kernel my AC3168 still does not initialize. This is already reported in:
None of the 5.5.x kernels working for me. Falling back to the lts kernel solves the problem.
Compiling the 5.5.x kernel with a patch from solves the issue.

Boot mainline kernel on Motile M141 with Intel AC3168 WiFi card.
