DetailsDescription:
The updated GTK config module in Plasma 5.18 also included provisions to support live reloading of settings in gtk3 apps via xsettingsd. This is done completely optionally and xsettingsd is being started automatically by the included kded module when the executable is present at runtime. See also a corresponding issue on KDE's phabricator: https://phabricator.kde.org/D25324 Specifying xsettingsd as an optional dependency in the kde-gtk-config package should align with upstream's intent. |
