This merge request: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/918 is probably responsible for massive problems with firefox on wayland when using firefox in maximized window state (no hovering, no selection updates and so on...) see: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1609538 any chance for this particular patch in mutter on arch to get reverted (from reading the forums it seems this merge was designed for gnome 3.35.x and 3.36), until this bug get's resorted in firefox/mutter?
