DetailsDescription: hplip from extra doesn' t work while that from AUR does.
The difference is in the shared object files (.so) expected to be in /usr/share/hplip/scan/plugins. Current version still doesn't deliver them, the AUR package does. |
This task depends upon
The official repo has only the hplip package without the shared objects.
The point is that hplip already includes a number of .so objects for printing. The missing ones make scanning impossible.
