Please provide 2 versions of poppler, poppler-gtk and poppler-qt.

If you have a kde/qt only system you need to have gtk2 installed since the Arch poppler depend on it.

It is a little bit wired, use only kde/qt and must install gtk..

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  Poppler will be available as poppler, poppler-qt, poppler-glib, which are all split packages. Upload will be delayed for some rebuilds and the gnome /usr move.

Roman, yes you are right, but I use KDEMOD, and KPDF depend on poppler, and only poppler depend on gtk2, all other gtk depends are removed.

Anywhere you must begin to remove the gtk deps..

Can we please at least have Qt support in poppler as well? Okular (kpdf's successor) depends on poppler as well, but needs the Qt support, not the gtk support (obviously). Poppler currently only has gtk support, rendering it useless for Ligature and Okular... I can't manage to get poppler-cvs to compile with Qt support myself, and there's a package for poppler anyway - pretty silly to have to compile it yourself if it's just there (but crippled).

poppler supports qt, it has qt as makedepend. I will do this also for GTK, so KDE doesn't pull in GTK via poppler anymore. I will only add the basic dependencies for libpoppler.so as depends then, the rest will become makedepends.

Thanx. I guess then Qt4 and Qt3 support can't be there both, as the current poppler doesn't allow me to compile Okular & friends... (I only figured out there is apparently seperate Qt3 and Qt4 support in there).
