I noticed that deluge and deluge-gtk were separated in two packages, this is great.

I propose that deluge-gtk does not depend on deluge package: for example I am using only the client to connect to a remote daemon and I don't run the daemon on my machine.
This task depends upon

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  It makes no sense to have deluge-gtk remove its dependency on all the core deluge code which it needs.

deluge contains all the core files also needed by deluge-gtk. The daemon is just an entry point.

After you've finally been given a split package, the first thing you do is complain that it isn't split enough?
