This package seems to have been created in [community] without consulting whether there was a package to migrate in the AUR. As it happens [ttf-gentium-plus](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ttf-gentium-plus/) has been there for a while.

Given that `ttf-*` is a much more widely used package naming convention for Arch, could we possibly

* rename this to *ttf-gentium-plus*,
* bump the pkgrel so it is newer than AUR,
* delete the AUR package,
* add the requisite provides/replaces to obsolete the current name in community.

You'll find that there are many font packages called foo-font, such as terminus-font and dina-font. The naming convention ttf-foo is okay if it's important that you are specifically packaging fonts in the ttf format. When what matters is simply that it is a font, foo-font is more clear. This way, searching for either "font" or "gentium" will bring the package to the user's attention.

ttf-gentium-plus in [aur] was created in late 2019, after this [community] package was created; I've gone ahead and accepted the previously-submitted deletion request.

I'll roll with this on the rename-decline, but the last point could still use attention ... it would be really nice if this package got a `replaces=('ttf-gentium-plus')` since the AUR package is deleted and I have lots of systems that use this!

Sure, adding it to replaces is reasonable enough. You'll find that's been added in -4.
