Details

When building php (5.2.1-1), I get following configuring error:

configure: error: utf8_mime2text() has new signature, but U8T_CANONICAL is missing. This should not happen. Check config.log for additional information.

Furthermore, is it possible to add the configure option --with-pspell (+ dependency aspell) to the PKGBUILD? This is a very useful PHP extension which imo does not have too heavy dependencies.

Well, this is not a problem of the php PKGBUILD; the current imap package is just incomplete. I attached a patch to add the missing .h file and update the package to version f.

This bug should be assingned to the maintainer of imap.

Oh, and btw: I don`t think server side spell checking is very usefull; clients should do that. But you could make a stand-alone module; eg. call it php-pspell. I did similar with apc, fileinfo etc. modules; see AUR.

pspell support can only be added by adding the --with-pspell switch to the php configure. As far as I can see, it cannot be installed separately.
