Description:
Opentype support missing for some fonts.
Fonts issues have plagued this package for some time now. The fallback to demi/semi bold causes errors and is visually unpleasing for non-English fonts.
This issue was discussed on upstream's issue tracker (link below) and I was advised to consult with the distribution packagers.
For the sake of clarity, here's the error:

OpenType support missing for "Open Sans Semibold", script 19
OpenType support missing for "Open Sans", script 19

Additional info:
* package version(s)
Since Demibold patch was introduced until current (testing) version 1.9.8-2
* config and/or log files etc.
Default settings.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Error problem was solved with 1.9.9 release.
The font issue wasn't.
I'll investigate further to find out whether it's a packaging or upstream issue, and report back.

I'll close this for now. Please report once you can confirm this being a packaging problem.
