DetailsDescription:
The libva package has libva-vdpau-driver as an optional dependency, but the description ("backend for Nvidia and AMD GPUs") is not entirely correct. libva-vdpau-driver is the VA-API -> VDPAU translation layer that is only needed by the proprietary NVIDIA driver. VA-API drivers for AMD and the open-source Nouveau are in the libva-mesa-driver package. See also https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Hardware_video_acceleration . Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any libva 2.6.1-1 Steps to reproduce: pacman -Qi libva |
