If there's "Beryl" inside the official "unstable" repository, I think there should also be the cleaner and more elegant "Compiz" package.

Compiz is in AUR.

Yes I know, but I'm talking about the official "unstable" repository: If there's Beryl, I don't understand why there isn't Compiz :-)

ill put official releases of compiz to [extra]. Don't want to deal with -git's.

should hussam's PKGBUILD.....

-> With KDE support added
-> GNOME depends removed
-> updated

be sufficient? You can use it on either, and it doesnt depend on either. Or use it on neither.
