GNU Octave doesn't work because it can't find libhwloc.so.5:

$ octave
/usr/lib/octave/5.1.0/exec/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/octave-gui: error while loading shared libraries: libhwloc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

octave-5.1.0-5 package

hwloc package provides libhwloc.so.15 currently

Recompilation against this needed?
