Intel sound card simply disappeared after my upgrading to linux 5.4. (both 5.4.1 and 5.4.2)

I tried to use linux-hardened-5.3.14 (and linux-hardened-5.3.15) and it works just fine.

Here are the information I could get from the hardened kernel:
0 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH
HDA Intel PCH at 0x6023108000 irq 158
1 [NVidia ]: HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia
HDA NVidia at 0x83000000 irq 17

But on linux 5.4, the first card is lost.
