DetailsWhen I instaslled python 2.5 from testing Nautilus kept crashing on my, with messages about not finding python, I guess a recompile would be enough... I didn't try, I'll do it later (the cpu is quite stressed doing something else right now) and post if it worked here.

What files do you have in /opt/gnome/nautilus/extensions-1.0/ ? Could be there's some nasty python extension in that directory that takes nautilus down somehow.

it was just a package from aur I had installed (tracker-gnome-search-tool), sorry for bothering.
