DetailsI was hoping this would have been fixed in 2.81, but the problem is the same as in 2.80, namely that CUDA GPU rendering is disabled. By compiling the old 2.7 Blender package I get CUDA rendering to work, also building this AUR package of 2.7 works: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/blender-2.7/
So in other words, the problem does not seem to be with the CUDA version, nor with the compiler toolchain, but rather something in the way 2.8 has changed configuration. |

Try the current release. It enables Optix.
