DetailsDescription:
It would be nice if BIND's 'Filter AAAA' functionality was enabled. It depends on a build-time option, so would require BIND to be re-compiled. I maintain my own internal DNS servers at home, and my ISP does _not_ support IPv6. Additional info: * Has been implemented since BIND 9.0 * [Filter AAAA option in BIND 9][0] * Enabled via `--enable-filter-aaaa` build-time flag [0]: https://kb.isc.org/docs/aa-00576 |

I decided to download and re-compile packages/bind.
Findings:
- Passing '--enable-filter-aaaa' to ./configure results in a 'unrecognised option' message in the configuration summary output.
- All filter-aaaa configuration options result in deprecation notifications when named-checkconf is run.
- The filter-aaaa functionality has been moved outside of core BIND into a plugin (located in $SRC/bin/plugins) which requires it's own compile step. Thankfully, this is as simple as adding 'plugins' to the array on line 93 of the PKGBUILD.
This results in a new shared library being installed to /usr/lib/named/filter-aaaa.so as well as an additional man page being created. So, I think the buildscripts may have to be modified again. The only changes to be made to the PKGBUILD is removing --enable-filter-aaaa and adding 'plugins' to the array on line 93.
Apologies for not testing this prior to contacting seblu & opening the bug on Flyspray.
