Description:

I have a Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 with a Dell WD15 Thunderbolt Dock. After updating to Kernel 5.3.13-arch-1 while docked, the audio no longer comes out of the external speakers attached to the dock. I believe the audio device that used to show up that no longer does is USB Audio Out. If any log files are needed, please let me know.

I'm now on Kernel 5.4.2-arch1-1 and issue persists.

Please try booting with snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0
