Defining a dark color in the media/arch.css is needed to make it readable
for those whose default GTK foreground is a light color.

Otherwise, reading the search entry and comboboxes is nearly impossible.
The bugs website has #03008f, so maybe that's a good choice.

Example:
.greybox input, button, textarea, select {
color: #03008f;
background: #e1e3e6;
border: 1px solid #8faecd;
}

Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  User has a workaround. Issue seems to be limited in scope to users with very light gtk themes.

Screenshots demonstrating the problem would definitely help.

I've had long since given up on this bug getting fixed, so I'm using this stylish script http://userstyles.org/styles/787

Since it effects all forms, it does clash with website layout/colors, but being able to read the forms makes it necessary.

Well.
Since you found a work around, and since it seems to be isolated to a few people with very light gtk styles, I think I will just close the ticket.

Thanks for the feedback and examples though.
