Description:
python support was removed in v1.21.0 [1]. The current PKGBUILD passes --enable-python to configure which produces
configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-python

[1] dropped the python2 dependency but left the --enable-python option.

My mistake 1.24.0-2 only removed the python2 dependency as I noted in my previous comment, --enable-python is still present.
