DetailsDescription:
After updating multitail 6.4.2-1 => 6.5.0-1 I start multitail. Now it comes up black & white and gives the following message: Could not determine size of file '/var/spool/mail/eivind' (which is supposed to be your mailfile): mail-check is disabled. You can prevent this message by adding the line 'check_mail:0' in /usr/local/etc/multitail.conf or in .multitailrc in your home-directory. This was already set in my configfile. However, multitail wants a configfile in /usr/local/etc while it's located in /etc. Copying /etc/multitail.conf to ~/.multitailrc or /usr/local/etc/multitail.conf makes multitail again work as previous/expected. This suggests to me that multitail now looks for it's configfile in /usr/local/etc instead of in /etc. Additional info: * package version(s) 6.5.0-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: Start multitail with /etc/multitail.conf as only location of configfile. |
