sonic-visualiser contains two helper executables in /usr/bin, but as of 4.0-1, they are not executable in the package:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 448440 26 oct. 08:20 /usr/bin/piper-vamp-simple-server
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 22376 26 oct. 08:20 /usr/bin/vamp-plugin-load-checker

With the consequence that on startup, sonic-visualiser complains about failing to load plugins: “Failed to list Vamp plugins: External plugin host executable does not appear to be installed”
