Description:

Since upgrading to the 9.2 GCC, building the Nvidia modules via dkms fails, reporting "error: incompatible gcc/plugin versions" in the log. Kernel was built with 9.2, too, so that cannot be the issue.

Affected version: 435.21-14 (and other recent ones)

See attached log file.

Steps to reproduce:

Not sure what that is supposed to mean. If this refers to me using an older kernel, I had to downgrade to one that was built with GCC 9.1, so I could recompile the Nvidia module, so I could actually use my system.

Issue also occurs with 5.3.7 and 5.3.8 kernels.

Alright, then post *actual* logs with *actual* package version of all relevant packages, including gcc and the kernel headers.
