This seems like it would plausibly have been broken by https://git.archlinux.org/pacman.git/commit/?id=c61cd050f9b6475ea128a1da02e88b284ac509b5

So it will need to be patched and rebuilt.

Looking around, this site seems to be almost a copy of the other site: https://www.linux-apps.com/p/1131723/

And, it shows a file download available. And the checksums match. But IIRC in the last few years they've changed to generating temporary download urls, which means we cannot rely on them. e.g.

https://www.linux-apps.com/p/1131723/startdownload?file_id=1466643430&file_name=150484-pacmanlogviewer-1.3.1.tar.gz&file_type=application/x-gzip&file_size=500498

Produces a splash page which says the file has been "prepared", and a download url of https://dllb2.pling.com/api/files/download/id/1466643430/s/d073070dd312b5557ddb830f772a5851e2844550c698225aeb4f62dc472233f30890900d324d88250a682fa10eb9fe0562f194bf5852cce8b497c8cc85c5da1b/t/1572300374/c/8fa6d186f03cb2155ffbf89c4f08c7bb76fde5023fd14ed6801793e77074bb38e3b71faf9074577664e4018a1d7599b529341c6d88a6faf95a5c756eef99a9cc/lt/download/150484-pacmanlogviewer-1.3.1.tar.gz

Or https://dllb2.pling.com/api/files/download/id/1466643430/s/6994774894df8f0adf7bff1aaedb561b0e94729005afb65c531ec3eecf01739478343aa9ffc7fcf1e2e7d3bc60cccebf05665a5d13ca30eee0d0478521fc2f6f/t/1572300504/c/8fa6d186f03cb2155ffbf89c4f08c7bb76fde5023fd14ed6801793e77074bb38e3b71faf9074577664e4018a1d7599b529341c6d88a6faf95a5c756eef99a9cc/lt/download/150484-pacmanlogviewer-1.3.1.tar.gz

@Muflone, I suggest uploading it to its own directory in orion.archlinux.org:/srv/sources/other/community/ and downloading it in the PKGBUILD from https://sources.archlinux.org/other/community/

Yes. It seems, that with 1.4.1 version everything works as expected.

@gcala,

Thanks for releasing a new version with the fix. ;) I'm going to leave this bug report open, however, until the package maintainer has a chance to update the version of the package in the official repos.

Thanks @gcala for the new version with the fixes for pacman >= 5.2
