Description:
After upgrading xf86-video-intel package, displaylink through USB-C doesn't work anymore. No change in configuration. It either doesn't even detect the external displays or, in case it does, it seems out of sync images without colouring. System is a Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1. It's reported and by some systems we were able to rollback to a functional version. The last functional version known is https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/x/xf86-video-intel/xf86-video-intel-1:2.99.917+870+g6f4972d5-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz There's a conversation open in reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/dexr1h/problems_with_displaylink_dualscreen_setup_after/f30q3jr/ Additional info: * package version(s) Faulty - Current(1:2.99.917+893) : Safe - 1:2.99.917:870 * config and/or log files etc. Please, ask for details, don't really know what to attach as info. * link to upstream bug report, if any https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/dexr1h/problems_with_displaylink_dualscreen_setup_after/f30q3jr/ Steps to reproduce: Connect a USB-C Targus dock to laptop to have screen extended and no display is possible to the just connected screens. |
