DetailsI started with Arch 0.7.2 (Kernel 2.6.16) and according to Linmodems.org the old ltserial/ltmodem combination (alk) stopped working after 2.6.15. A few posts on our mailing list and forum seem to confirm this, besides my own negative experiences.
The current code is at http://martian.barrelsoutofbond.org/ ... I'm currently away from computers most of the time, but I'm certainly up for proper testing once there's a kernel module. |

It would probably be best to drop the packages in extra altogether. No Arch dev has ltmodem hardware for testing (it's the gigabit age, heh) and there's already a Martian PKGBUILD in AUR (which I consider overtaking if the original contributor wouldn't mind).
