mate-common-1.23.2 has changes from master upstream branch which aren't needed for MATE-1.22 packages. In result building other Mate packages can failed. A lot of builds for MATE upstream travis (ci) builds for ArchLinux failed because Archlinux ships a bad version of mate-common. Same will probably happens in your own build system when building other MATE packages which are depending on mate-common. This can be fixed by updating your repos to mate-common-1.22.2 where we have reverted the faulty commits. Please update to mate-common-1.22.2 as soon as possible. Sorry, for the faulty release.....
