Description:

Upon update to nextcloud 17.0.0-1, the main configuration file [1] is overwritten/deleted, and its contents lost.
Shouldn't it be backuped during install like this [1] ?

Steps to reproduce:
Have a configured nextcloud instance, upgrade to nextcloud 17.0.0-1

[1] /etc/webapps/nextcloud/config/config.php
[2] https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/php#n188

Thanks for reporting this. I'm having the same issue, lucky me I back it app with Git. It seems the workaround is to just set `maintenance` config value to `false` in `config.php`.

I believe that it is not packaging problem: "No package owns config.php"
