DetailsDescription:
Are you sure that Aeolus now all of a sudden, over a year after the latest release, requires libjack? And is the only FA program that does? And in a specific version only provided by jack2 (libjack.so=0-64)? Why would it? To me that sounds most unlikely. Additional info: * package version(s) aeolus 0.9.7-3 * config and/or log files etc. Not linked against specific version. $ ldd aeolus linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffcccdd1000) libzita-alsa-pcmi.so.0 => /usr/lib/libzita-alsa-pcmi.so.0 (0x00007f1677d4d000) libclthreads.so.2 => /usr/lib/libclthreads.so.2 (0x00007f1677d44000) libjack.so.0 => /usr/lib/libjack.so.0 (0x00007f1677cf9000) libasound.so.2 => /usr/lib/libasound.so.2 (0x00007f1677c17000) libpthread.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007f1677bf6000) libdl.so.2 => /usr/lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f1677bf1000) libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 (0x00007f1677a07000) libm.so.6 => /usr/lib/libm.so.6 (0x00007f16778c1000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00007f16778a7000) libc.so.6 => /usr/lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f16776e4000) libcelt0.so.2 => /usr/lib/libcelt0.so.2 (0x00007f16774cb000) libopus.so.0 => /usr/lib/libopus.so.0 (0x00007f167746d000) librt.so.1 => /usr/lib/librt.so.1 (0x00007f1677460000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 => /usr/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f1677dc2000) * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: |

The issue here is that both jack and jack2 should provide libjack.so but only jack2 does

@hollunder: Thanks for the report. As @arojas already pointed out, the problem is not with aeolus, but with jack in this case. I forgot to add the specific provides, when I introduced this to jack2. Will change this right away.
