My MacBook has a Atheros chipset and is using the Madwifi module IIRC.

Hi,

I just installed archlinux on my pc, which has an atheros 5212 chipset.

I also experience the same results w/ the 2.6.20 kernel. This is being caused by the madwifi driver, this is the debug information spit as the panic happens:

[<f8a01b7b>] ieee80211_getmgtframe+0xcb/0xf0 [wlan]

[<f8a01b83>] ieee80211_getmgtframe+0xd3/0xf0 [wlan]

[<f8a01b7b>] ieee80211_getmgtframe+0xcb/0xf0 [wlan]

I went to recompile the madwifi drivers, but there is no headers (that I could find) with the testing/kernel26 package.

Thanks
