ok and what if I have a newer version, not exactly matching that version? do i need to recompile kmymoney everytime?
since it is still not listed ...

got it only working with the following patch. So it needs to be recompiled everytime for matching versions of aqbanking and gwenhywfar

That doesn't make sense. The number in find_package is the *minimum* (not exact) version required. kbanking builds fine against latest gwenhywfar and aqbanking beta without any patching required

I can only tell you how I got it working so that aqbanking is showing up in the settings menu.

I even build new packages of gwenhywfar and aqbanking without "rc" and "beta" in the package name, only the version number. It did not work.
When I install the archlinux kmymoney package the aqbanking entry is not shown, only when compiling against the installed version. that's the only thing I can tell. (referring to kmymoney 5.0.7)
To reproduce it I attached the working PKGBUILD.
My archlinux installations are always up to date and the latest aqbanking package was v 5.8.2

Non working aqbanking was version 5.99.35 - .37

I downgraded to kmymoney 5.06 and added kmymoney to ignorepkg until a newer compiled version of aqbanking will be available. Works fine again.

@Manu maybe you were not rebuilding kmymoney before (without your patch)?

I've installed aqbanking-git, which did not work then still with kmymoney 5.0.6 and 5.0.7, but installing kmymoney-git then also fixed it (I assume rebuilding kmymoney 5.0.7 would have also fixed it).

It would be great if the situation could be resolved / fixed somehow, especially since kmymoney(-git) is slow to build.

It seems unfortunate to require some beta dependency in a patch release (5.0.7), but it appears that aqbanking 5.99 is required for new chipTAN requirements etc anyway.

(I've noticed that aqbanking6 uses a different settings directory (`.aqbanking/settings6`), and have not tried migrating/using my old settings with it yet)

upgrading aqbanking requires updating gwenhywfar to the latest beta version too, adding maintainer.

kmymoney 5.0.7-2 from [community-testing] adds back aqbanking support.
