Description: This new sane version (1.0.28-1) does not recognize certain scanners (e.g. Canon Lide 60) and this is a regression from the previous sane version (1.0.27-2). I have been using this scanner for 7 years now and this update caused the mentioned regression. Please see the forum posts at the following link, describing the problem and several different attempts for workaround: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/canoscan-lide-60-stopped-being-recognized-by-manjaro-since-the-last-update/102131/7

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:
Launch xsane
Sane reports an invalid argument error
All troubleshooting steps at this link (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SANE#Invalid_argument) have been tried and failed.
Downgrading to sane 1.0.27-2 solves the problem, and normal behavior is restored.
