DetailsI'd been experiencing crashes using zswap with the z3fold allocator since
linux 5.2. The crashes happen once I'm using more memory than fits in the zpool. I've reported the issue upstream: https://marc.info/?l=linux-mm&m=156765634306095 but unfortunately the fix didn't make it to 5.3. If possible, please include the following two patches in the linux packages for now, so that others can benefit from them. https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/9/8/363 https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/9/10/315 All the details of the bugs can be seen in the upstream report. Kind regards. |
