it also needs patching to handle international strings well.
i have patched it by hand but it's somewhat ugly and requires testing...

and also it have a crazy encoded po-file :) (ISO-8859-1 is not normal for cyrillic) i have converted it to UTF-8 using

iconv -f iso-8859-1 -t cp1252 ru.po | iconv -f koi8-r -t UTF-8 > ru-utf.po

this is not normal behaviour i think :)

i'm working on it :) there are also some cosmetic bugs in help screen, errors in russian translation and bugs in displaying russian filenames in directories :) i have corrected translation and added simple patch to correct displaying of international symbols in playlist, but there is still more work to do.

thank you for the patch... but i think this should be included in the sources of the project and not only in our pacakging.

I think upstream is not that active anymore so if we want this implemented the application should be patched. At least until further notice. Although i dont know if this is fixed in SVN.

ncmpc was rebuilt against ncursesw with the big ncurses rebuild. Is this fixed?
