sudo localectl set-keymap --no-convert it so i get cat /etc/vconsole.conf KEYMAP=it quite all keys are responding properly, but some ATL+key outputs are not correct, as "alt+ì" should give "~" while i get a "í" Also, in xorg, if /etc/vconsole.conf is set to "KEYMAP=it", i get UI paralized (not refreshing windows anymore, need to kill xinit) if i press i.e. "alt+ì" Additional info: ─angelo at dfj in ~ using ‹› 19-09-15 - 1:08:41 ╰─○ sudo pacman -Fs locale core/gcc 9.1.0-2 usr/include/c++/9.1.0/locale core/glibc 2.29-4 usr/bin/locale core/groff 1.22.4-1 usr/share/groff/1.22.4/tmac/mm/locale core/lib32-glibc 2.29-4 usr/lib32/locale community/aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc 9.2.0-1 usr/aarch64-linux-gnu/include/c++/9.2.0/locale community/arm-none-eabi-gcc 9.2.0-1 usr/arm-none-eabi/include/c++/9.2.0/locale community/dateutils 0.4.6-1 usr/share/dateutils/locale community/emscripten 1.38.43-1 usr/lib/emscripten/system/include/libcxx/locale community/gcc8 8.3.0-2 usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/8.3.0/include/c++/locale community/riscv64-linux-gnu-gcc 9.2.0-1 usr/riscv64-linux-gnu/include/c++/9.2.0/locale community/wt 4.1.0-1 usr/lib/Wt/examples/feature/locale/locale community/zig 0.4.0-1 usr/lib/zig/libcxx/include/locale Steps to reproduce: Get an italian keyboard, i have a Logitech Craft but hopefully another italian keyboard is ok sudo localectl set-keymap --no-convert it "alt+ì" should give "~" while you'll get a "í" |
