Detailsnow i know most people get touchy right now when there's a pacman feature request, when pacman 3.0 should focus only on stability and making sure that everything works as it did before. I am witting this feature request now just so i don't forget it, perhaps it can be considered for version 3.1,3.2 99.x or whatever.. so here it is
* a --deep option that would install a program and its dependencies, and the dependencies dependencies, and so on (good for those who have used -Rd or -Sd) * an option to check what files are installed but no longer necessary, (dependencies for files that are not there anymore) i know i can use the -s option when removing but still it would be nice to have. |
