Additional comments about closing: Installation of jack/jack2 has to be acknowledged by the user (after package building), because both provide jack.

makepkg works fine, it's the subsequent installation step that fails

@andreas_baumann: jack2 provides jack (they both provide the same API and are thus interchangeable to the largest extent). You need to proceed with "y" to install jack2 in place of jack.
