The software releases a new version rarely:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/-/tags But there are plenty of commits meanwhile: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/commits/master And it seems that it's pseudo-maintained: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/issues/154 These commits usually enable compatibility with desktop environments, and not having them can break it for months. For example I committed a fix for Deepin compatibility with email links, and 11 months later it still isn't available for the general public. So all suggest me that more frequent updates than stable versions will result in better quality. |
