Blender must be compiled with gcc7. Compiling with gcc > 7 produces a very slow CPU+GPU render (rendering with just CPU is faster than CPU+GPU). Check this thread out https://developer.blender.org/T64894 The problem is solved if blender is compiled with gcc7 as mentioned in their wiki "Building Blender" https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Building_Blender Steps to reproduce: Download the file in the thread above (you can create your own file too), render with just CPU, then with CPU+GPU and check the rendering times. |

Render that project metioned above with cpu only or gpu only will finish instantly, but if use both cpu+gpu it will take 2 minutes to finish.
