Hi, I guess this change is fixed via reverting heftigs last change: https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/ttf-liberation&id=34bff7ef268a877580dc0bc704de1cf5e90982c1

I have issues with this change as well, I couldn't use Liberation Serif anymore in my Luatex environment:

./mcdowellcv.cls:44: Package fontspec Error: The font "LiberationSerif" cannot be found

I would be willing to maintain this package, I strongly rely on it for my CV.

Works for me, as is.

Hi,
I can confirm, my latex support works again. I needed to refresh the lualatex font cache via: luatfload-tool -u -f
