Details

From pulseaudio-12.99.2-1, paprefs settings are ignored.

$ pactl list modules | grep gsettings
$ pactl unload-module module-gsettings
Failed to unload module: Module module-gsettings not loaded
$ pactl load-module module-gsettings
Failure: Module initialization failed

I had used paprefs to "Enable network access to local sound devices" and this no longer works, i.e. "module-native-protocol-tcp" does not get loaded automatically.


This is related to the switch to meson. I rebuilt using the previous PKGBUILD which uses autotools (changing the commit to match pulseaudio-12.99.2-1) and the problem does not occur.
